What's In A Name? - Tony Roi
Tony is a king at what he does. He gives a very beautiful and stunningly accurate tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. He has the soft, sensual voice, the mannerisms, humor, magnetism that attracts girls from age 2 to 102, and many of the pulse-quickening moves that the King was famous for. When King Tony arrives on stage, he commands nothing more than for his audience to relax and have a good time in "his house".
If you aren't familiar with the seating, a polite usher will escort you to your seat. And, from my own experience, there are no "bad" seats in the house. (Although, I will admit, I prefer the VIP seating of the first three rows--I like to make eye contact with a performer.) The seats are comfortable, although you can get elbowed in the ensuing enthusiasm. When the show does start, be prepared for a wide range of emotions. True fans will experience a little
sadness and nostalgia during the initial clip of Elvis Presley. Then
Tony comes on stage, introduces himself and welcomes his audience.
The mood immediately changes as you notice his uncanny resemblance
to Elvis. Then you get roughly two hours (sometimes a little more) of top-notch entertainment. You're caught up in love songs like "One Night With You" to foot-tapers and hand-clappers like "Marie's the Name (of His Latest Flame)" and one of my old personal favorites "Devil in Disguise". It's music that everyone can get into and enjoy. (My own 20 year old daughter is a huge Tony fan.) He is so caring and giving to his audience/fans that you "Can't Help Falling in Love" with the guy! Throw into the mix a couple of kick-tail back-up singers and sizzlin' musicians--and of course--the MOVES; and you're in another world for awhile. After the show, when possible, Tony will meet the fans in the hallway to visit, sign autographs, and pose for that final picture before you reluctantly have to say "good-bye". As you leave you realize you
are now a fan of Tony Roi! Your return for your investment--a
wonderfully satisfying afternoon of phenomenal entertainment in a
comfortable atmosphere.
