TUSK -
Road To Rock
I Love the show! Bravo TUSK you guys ROCK!
House of Rock Theatre, excellent reface! 2 thumbs up, love the
colors, the theme, the over exaggeration of everything, just as the
performers are, it is all larger than life.
Box office team was very friendly and knowledgeable of the seating
and the show. The House
of Rock shirts are a nice touch as well, not like a stuffy white
oxford and tie. Concessions guy is a real cutie.
Seating is nice and comfortable, it is an older theatre but the
seats are very comfortable. Sound and lights again I would have to
say WOW, what a difference you have made from last year, their
awesome.
The Road To Rock is
truly a show for all ages, you gotta see it to believe it.
Ok now about the band…. Wow what a great band TUSK is,
wonderful musicians and singers, the level of talent you get to see
and hear on that stage is just amazing. The dancers are awesome, I
do sincerely miss Larry who is out with a foot injury, get well
soon, but those dancers got moves!
The show: the beginning was little odd but once the show was into
the 2nd scene I was getting the whole premise behind the beginning’s
oddities. Very Clever, the Angel of Rock, and ladies not too bad on
the eyes either, great smile (his wife is one of the sexy redheads
dancing).
TUSK band members, HOT!!!
My favorite would have to be the Lead Guitar Player, Larry “The
Doctor” Holiday they call him. He plays his guitar with his teeth
and sets guitar on fire, just to mention a couple of his eccentric
talents. He is an awesome, talented guitar player and a great
vocalist as well. My favorite of his “characters” would probably be
Lenny Kravitz, love the dread locks and the tank top, not to mention
American Woman is one of my favorite songs.
Girls were hot on this one;
wait till you see them dance. Then he also turns around and does a
ballad in the show it was beautiful. The diversity of these guys is
just awesome. I couldn’t take my eyes off his guitar playing and my
brother in-law who is a guitar player was enamored by his guitar
playing and talents too. Couldn’t believe he was hearing this in
Branson.
Lets
see, Tony Turner, Lead singer and the one who “takes the
journey” down the Road to Rock with the Angel. He is a great
vocalist! Performs to the audience, great dance moves, Elvis need I
say more, and funny as well. Very talented. Most favorite characters
hum …. No not Ozzy as you would think but probably Bon Jovi, oh no
that is just me wishing it was Bon Jovi. Hard to say but probably
the TUSK set when he sings one of their original hits, Joy
Ride. Great song, upbeat, fun, makes you want to dance along with
him.
Next is John Turner, bass player. What can I say he’s a big
teddy bear. Talented bassist and great vocals. He does, Gene
Simmons, KISS, red tongue, leather studded jumpsuit and all. But my
favorite would be Lynyrd Skynyrd and Free Bird. The hat looks good….
The three guys John, Larry and Nathan get to just jam on this song
and they sound great. I love how well they perform together. This
set is one of my favorite photos of the show as well.
Nathan Mason on rhythm guitar and vocals, Is really a blonde?
I am a huge Billy Idol fan from way back when so of course Rebel
Yell is on the top of my list for Nathan. Love the wild guitars too,
the orange one is best! Great job on American Soldier too but I
believe Modern or Nu Rock is more his calling. Careful not to split
your pants with that stand too.
New guy to TUSK band this year, Lyman Clark on key boards. I
love the hats, don’t listen to your wife they don’t look stupid! He
is very talented at tickling the ivories. I understand he sings as
well but we don’t really hear him sing, not yet anyway.
That leaves me with the drummer and yes another Turner too, Jason.
PINK what can I say? If you haven’t seen the show yet you don’t know
why I say Pink, so see the show and you will. Ok, good drummer, has
a cute smile or actually smirk I should say, but you have to be
sitting in the right place to be able to see his face.
They keep him in the dark for a
reason I believe. He too has great vocal talents but we only
get to hear him doing back up singing and harmonies. Maybe they will
let him out in the lights before the season is over.
I believe I covered all the band members and not to dismiss the
wonderful talent and great attributes of the Angel of Rock,
Michael DiPrizio or the dancers, Joanie, Shanda,
Tristan, Stephen and Larry who will be back he
guarantees me, soon. Keep smiling, I love that most about all of
you, your facial expressions and energy are great.
Michael, what can I say but
possibly an Angel on the verge of getting his wings clipped (see
Friday Night Live Cabaret and you will know what I mean). Michael
adds a lot to the show with his quick whit and humor and the way you
play to, as well as, play off of the audience.
What can I say I love The Road To Rock Show. I have seen it
numerous times, brought friends, family, clients and even a pastor
with me who just love the show. I believe they have all been back
again at least once. Honestly the Best show in town for every
age group and most talented band of musicians and singers I have
seen anywhere.
Keep it up and can’t wait to see what Christmas and News Years bring
us this year!
I’ll be seeing you all soon. Your loyal fan.
-Billie
