Tony Roi Makes Me Scream
Our Wonderful Tony!!!!! That's all my sister and I can say; we are hooked - Tony is the best - we can't get enough of him.
I had to find someone to go with me, so calling my sister, I told her I had a ticket for Tony Roi. She and I love Elvis so we were quite excited to see him (and me having seen him once before thought I knew what to expect, WRONG!). Tony was so much better than I had seen him a few years back - not that he wasn't good then because he was, but wow - he was awesome. When we called to use the ticket, we wanted front row seats and, of course, they said being a comp ticket we couldn't get front row. We said 'ok', so our immediate thought was, 'well, we will be stuck in the back and not a good view.' WRONG. We got 3rd row, left side and seat 17 and 18 and what a great view we had from there. We were anxiously awaiting him to come out (especially my sis she had never seen him before); well, the time had come. He came out - oh my goodness, we could not be quite that Tony looked so awesome in that JUMPSUIT! Words cannot describe it. Man, he was gorgeous and he can sure move. We absolutely loved it; we clapped our hands and screamed so loud and just fell in love with Tony. He did a wonderful show - this was his final three shows of 2005 and we got to be a part of that; never will forget it. We got a great picture with him and a kiss and we were excited. Then time came to leave the show and we had used our free ticket, so upon leaving, we headed out all saddened. We wanted to see Tony's next show so straight to the box office we went! We asked, 'do you have any front row seats for Friday?' and lo and behold, they had 2 seats ready and waiting for us! We were so excited. So we head back to see him again and even a better performance that time. So we go BACK to the box office; we tell them we want to come BACK for Saturday's show and it's the last show for the season and we got front row again! We were so happy and again and Tony ended his season with a bang. It was awesome! We knew we wanted front row seats for his opening season for 2006, so we went to box office AGAIN. I think I will be well-known before it's all over with at the Music Center box office; so we got seats reserved for that Friday, March 3rd. But guess what? We wound up getting tickets for ALL 3 days and my, my I don't know what we would have done if we had missed that wonderful performance that was even better than last year. Well during the winter we couldn't wait. Tony was constantly on our minds. Just had to see him again, and yes, when he came out on stage he gave us his all (as he always does). He sang Moody Blue, way down and can he get low on that way down part (and of course my sis and I - we scream the lower he goes the louder we get lol). He just looks so good we can't be quiet. He walks over to our side, smiles that sexy smile and moves those hips and it just absolutely mesmerizes us.
Then the second part of his show; and it's always better than the first half, if that's possible. For the life of me, I don't know how he can get better but he always does. He always surprises us with his amazing moves or his amazing voice. You go there expecting to see a tribute to Elvis and that is what you see; but by the time you leave you will have seen Tony and you become a Tony fan. We all go crazy and can't wait to get a scarf; and if you want it wet he will gladly wet it for you with all that good-smelling sweat. "I know" we are in love! We have to be - but he is OUR TONY and when he sings Poke Salad Annie and does that 'chomp chomp', my sister and I can't scream loud enough. Our voices are gone by the time the show is done. We clapped so hard my hands cracked open; but the sore hands were all worth it. At the end of the show he was singing Johnny B. Goode and he runs off stage and all the fans were anxiously awaiting to see what surprise he had. We knew it would be good and was it ever! He came out in those jeans and his Tony jacket and wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Just so everyone knows, WE LOVE TONY and his performance and even if he didn't sing a single Elvis song or wear an Elvis jumpsuit, we would STILL love Tony and watch his shows because that man has it going on; and a wonderful personality and he loves his fans as much as we love him. -Norfork Lady -Pictures by Debbie Jones
