I have been going to see the Tony Roi show for a number of years now. I just happened to go to his show 4 years ago because I like seeing what all the shows in Branson are about. Branson has become my favorite (and only) vacation spot. The first time you see the Tony Roi show you will never forget it. It is hard to put into words how good the show is, and I have never met anyone who was disappointed.
But after going to see Tony’s show so many times I became aware of an overlooked fact.
The fact is that once you see Tony Roi do his tribute to Elvis you can never go see another performer try the same thing. I did not know this. So I went to two shows to have a good time and soon realized I was comparing them to how Tony does Elvis and it was no match. The voice, the moves, they were just not the same. One might have looked like a young Elvis but that is as far as that went, the voice was all wrong. One had a o.k. voice but could not move. So I came away realizing once again just how good Tony is. There was no comparison to the energy he brings to the show. And Tony’s talented voice is just so amazing.
I made several trips to Branson in 2006 for the sole propose to see Tony Roi’s shows. We spent our vacation week in Branson in June. It was a wonderful time not only because of the Tony Roi shows but because Branson has so much to offer. I was lucky enough to attend the Tony Roi fan club get-together in October. Tony has a free fan club for fans and it is run by wonderful people. I was also able to spend the Thanksgiving Day weekend there. And then again to see Tony’s finally show for 2006. It really was a great year. One I will always remember.
Just recently, as an added surprise, I was able to attend one of Tony’s off season shows that was about 60 miles from where I live. It was a valentine gift my husband surprised me with and thankfully the weather co-operated and I had a wonderful time. It was so much fun seeing Tony outside of Branson and it helped make the wait till my next trip to Branson a little easier. Tony did a few songs I have never heard him sing. The people there in IL really loved Tony’s performance and it proved once again what I already knew, Tony Roi is a very talented performer. Branson is very lucky to have him there.
I already have one trip planned to Branson for 2007. So don’t overlook the fact, that you really should see the Tony Roi show at Music City Center in Branson this year.
