The
Scoop on the Haygoods Show
I am an employee at Music City
Centre, where the Haygoods, Tony Roi,
and Tom Mulica (Red Skelton) perform.
I
love all three of the shows, but the Haygoods is my favorite. This
family of seven brothers and on sister are definitely the most
talented people I have ever met. Tim, Pat, Dom, Shawn, Michael,
Matthew, Catherine, and Aaron all play three instruments, as well as
sing.
Through every minute of the show,
you will be sitting there in amazement because just when you think
they can't get any better, something new, and even more amazing
happens. The boys love to sing sweet harmonies from The Eagles, to
the Beach Boys, and the Beatles.
They all have great solo voices
too. I was glad to see that Matthew sang more this year also.
From the side splitting laughter from Michael's "Jersey Cow" poem,
to the shock-and-awe of him flipping off the piano at the end of
"Johnny-B-Good", he is just an overall great entertainer.
When the boys do their dance set near the end of the show, you can
totally tell that they love to do what they do.
Performing is their life, and you
can tell they love it. I also love that they know how to have fun
with each other on stages, like a family should.
Now, on to theatre specifics. The
theatre seats about 600-700 people and every seat in there is a
great seat. Because the guys and Catherine are all over the stage
you won't be missing anything.
There are VIP seats, in the first
three rows, that just mean you get to sit closer for just a few more
bucks. There are about 18 rows on the main floor and then there is a
balcony where there are about 10 row of seating. Personally I think
that the balcony is the best seating if you don't mind climbing a
few steps. You can look down on the stage and see everything.
I would definitely recommend that
you not leave Branson without seeing the Haygoods...and I'm
not just saying that because I work there.
