Justin Flom - Back In Branson

January 20, 2006

Justin Long stars in Branson's new Imaginary Theatre and Magic Parlor, opening in the spring of 2006.  The moment you and your companions come through the door is when the action begins.  Each person receives a secret mystery key. Watch out when you see what happens to someone in the group during the picture-taking session--you might appear in the show video!

Then you move into the mystifying den where more surprises are in store and also leaves a challenge - which of the many keyholes is the right fit for the magic key that opens the bookcase and hidden passage to the dessert parlor?  Fun abounds in the dessert parlor where treats include a variety of coffees, smoothies and desserts. Music is provided by an inexplicable, dusty old piano named "Theodora." You and yours will learn the Legend of Theodora, who will play just about every song you can ask for.  Assiduous waiters sing along and puzzlingly pour drinks into floating glasses while the surroundings may change in but a moment.

The enchanting encounter marches on when worldwide renown, award-winning illusionist Justin Flom swiftly appears and welcomes guests into his magic library where the compelling show "happens all around you." Justin disappears and reappears again in improbable places along with your typical exploding confetti cannons, fast-paced, mystifying illusions, puzzling close-up magic and "snow" that covers everything.
Show-goers will want to come back again and again to the magic parlor nestled away on the second floor of one of Branson's buildings, the Majestic Steakhouse. Call (888) 422-3566.

Illusionist Justin Flom has been performing the art of illusion for over 17 years. His award winning magic has been featured for audiences all around the U.S. as well as in 8 different countries. His magic has been featured numerous times on television in the states, as well as on national television in the country of Peru. The president of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians, Steve Varro, calls him "the next David Copperfield." Justin Flom is quickly becoming the new face of magic.

Justin has a passion for the art of illusion, however, he also has a real passion for evangelism through creative means. He uses magic and illusion to catch people's eyes, so they listen with their ears, so God can touch their heart. Thousands have heard the message of the Gospel through Justin's presentations. God has worked through Justin and his illustrations and He continues to do so.

Born into a family of entertainers, he started by performing with his parents on stage. However, he'll tell you that he "can't remember most of that time because much of it was spent in trunks and dark boxes." From the age of two Justin did his share of illusions until high school, when he decided he wanted to make a career out of entertaining others. Since high school Justin has become a full-time professional illusionist and continues to share God's Word through the art of illusion.

April has been performing professionally in Branson for 9 years and loving every moment of it. She has done 14 shows varying in style-from "Ed McMahon and Friends," Silver Dollar City shows, Dino's Christmas Extravaganza and many more. Singing since she could talk and dancing since the age of 3, April loves using her talents to glorify God and is so very glad that He has blessed her with such abundant opportunities to enjoy. April has loved magic and being dramatic since a very young age, always trying to impress her audiences with those not-so-quick slight of hand, now she is a part of making the magic happen (with someone who actually does it right).

In 2002 Justin was exploring deep in the forests of the Orient when he came across a duck, but not just any duck. This particular bird was busying himself entertaining other animals in the forest by performing difficult magic tricks. When Justin stumbled on him he was performing the Chinese Linking Rings. He's a Chinese Peking duck so it only made sense. Justin immediately connected with our feathered friend, named him Juan, and brought him back to Branson, MO to feature him in an illusion show.

Okay, okay...none of the above is true. But Juan is a very talented duck who has been with the show since 2003. Justin really does keep Juan as a pet and has raised him since he was born. Some say he spoils Juan too much…I guess he's a lucky duck.
