to see Merrill Osmond sing some great Broadway tunes. I
think he has found his niche. This show is worth seeing. Do
take the time to make sure on your travels to Branson that
you see this show!! You won't be disappointed. A. W. K. N. 2-11-06 I just wanted to say that the site looks great. I
will forever love Branson. I was an evacuee who came to
Branson during Hurricane Rita. I was so impressed with the
wonderful people. I continue to view this site. Circle B Chuckwagon - Thoroughly impressed. Loved the prayer before the meal. Too many people are afraid to do that these days. Showed love of family, love of country and love of the Lord. Not one bad moment. -Sharon Garrison I saw this movie (the
forecast) as it had a special private presentation at
the Legends theater Thursday night for friends and family.
Justin Clark (aka Elwood Blues) plays the snot nosed brat of
a newscaster that thinks Mort is some weirdo. Stacy (aka
Shania Twain and Marilyn Monroe) plays a sweet co worker of
Mort that is a supportive friend throughout this movie. The
film has many Branson celebs such as Nedra Culp
(nominated for Best Singer for the Branson Critic award) she
plays a very sassy police Lt. B. J. Phillips Tony & Doug
I was so thrilled to see
that Tony Roi finally got the recognition that he
deserves. I was Elvis's #1 fan and never would
even look at imitators. But Tony
is not just an imitator. Tony has the charisma
and magic that Elvis had.
I was disappointed that
Doug Gabriel did not receive any awards this year.
I know that year after year, Doug has been consistent in
winning best singer, best performer and best show, so it
seems it should be someone else's turn. But, hey!
When you are the best, you don't need to strive to be
better. Doug and Cheryl will always be the
greatest in my book. So, congratulations to all the
winners and next year will be bigger and better than
ever.
Tony & Doug's #1 fan,
Jean Harris
Tony It would be fantastic if
Tony's award could be presented Monday, November 14 show.
I know he has several fan club member attending that night.
Hint, hint!! -Linda Turner Merrill I went to see this show a few months ago and was very impressed with it! The band is phenomenal and Merrill is a great entertainer. He sang some songs that I never dreamed he would do. From a little bit country to Tom Jones songs, it is unbelievable. Kudos to Merrill and his great band!!! -Nelia Heggen
My son has encouraged me to
write this review, and I have to admit that I am not a
writer. He said that it was important to support the
good performers and show that I saw in Branson.
Paul Harris Is there anything we, his fans, can do to stop the move? Can't imagine a Branson without Paul Harris!! We love him! Why would he even consider leaving? Bigger isn't always better & he's a "Branson" type of guy--not Nashville. Branson Underground's Friday Night Live Cabaret Finally, a show for the
rest of us! The Branson Underground's Friday Night
Live Cabaret is a fun, hip weekly revue performed by
many of Branson's best but unsung entertainers. No
headliners here, just the incredibly talented entertainers
who often go unnoticed because the theatre isn't named after
them. Each week is a different show, and we get a
little bit of everything, from Broadway to country, from
comedy and magic to opera and Shakespeare. Kudos to
the Nova Live theatre for having the brains, the heart and
the courage to bring a show like the Friday Night Live
cabaret to Branson! The Branson Underground Friday
Night Live Cabaret plays every Friday night at 11:15pm,
at the Nova Live Theatre, on Highway 76, across from
Starbucks. Tickets are $5 for locals/entertainers, $10
general admission. -Christophe Leavy ►

Terry Sanders I have been coming to Branson on vacation for fifteen years. Terry Sanders is one of the funniest, most creative, entertainers I have ever seen and I make sure I see him whenever I am in town. This guy never tires of creating ways to make my friends and I laugh! -Lori Zanni Tony Tony is by far the
greatest
entertainer in Branson. His voice is unbelievable and he
gives his all at every show. On top of that he has a huge
heart and truly cares about all of his fans. His band is
very talented as well. -Natalie Bob Anderson I would love to vote for best singer, best performer etc. but the person I would like to vote for isn't in contention....namely, Bob Anderson. He was the best out of the 6 shows we saw in Branson. I can't believe he isn't in the running. BIG MISTAKE. Some of the shows are a 3 or 4 and Bob is a l0!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Alice I just read the review of the Chuck Wagon Gang performance in Branson. Great article - the only thing is, the writer of "I'll Fly Away", is ALBERT E. Brumley, Sr., not Alfred. I work for Albert E. Brumley & Sons. Thanks! -Sharon Boles, GM/CFO Bucky Heard I think Bucky Heard is a class by himself, he can go from Jake to John Cougar and never miss a step. Bucky was gteat with 50's At The Hop and has only gotten better with age. If you have never seen Bucky on stage, you have missed one of the most unique voices in Branson! -Danny Clark Tony I have been to see Tony Roi's show at least 12 times this year. I took my 86 year old mother-in-law and she was in awe of him. He has such a fantastic voice, but also his personality reflects a very kind, humble man. His whole performance and his back up singers, and band are such a great tribute to Elvis and his music. I just keep going back and taking people from my office and my husband's office, and then they can't wait to go back and take their family and friends. It's the kind of show that you want to see again and again. -Fran C. Tulsa Ok Homer Lee I have been visiting
Branson with my family since I was 5 yrs old. I love The Dutton's I went and saw The
Dutton's with some friends from church and I was truly Happy Banana Hi! We're frequent visitors of Branson. It's only about a 4 hour drive and the best bargain around. Last fall, our usual favorite was doing a private gig so we went in search of other entertainment for an early Friday night. Our quest landed us at (the now defunked) Happy Banana. I don't know who the fellas were that were playing but they were very good. One guy at long blonde hair and the other had much shorter hair. They played 90's and current rock and pop music (oasis - ACDC, etc). If you happen to know who I'm talking about, I sure would be interested in seeing them perform again. We'll be coming back down around October 7.
Any information would be
greatly appreciated. -Thanks Pam G
"I've seen 4 show's in Branson
this year. I saw Dixie Stampede, Magnifcent 7 (White House
Theatre, Presley's Jubilee, & Stuck on the 70's. Stuck on
the 70's is the best show I've seen this year. I really enjoyed
it. It brought memories to me when I was a kid in the 70's. I
like Presley's & Magnificent 7 (White House Theater) to. I was
disappointed with Dixie Stampede." Magnificent 7- "I have seen many shows there in Branson and I never miss seeing the WHITEHOUSE theater as we think it is the very BEST SHOW in Branson. I do miss Josh and some of the others that were there, however the new cast of the Magnificent Seven still remains the best. I always look forward to seeing the show and We always eat there at the theater. The price is right also. The newest member of the show, Talya, I am sure, will grow up to be a great attraction to the show." - Goldie L., Independence, Missouri, 11 Sep 2005 Grand Country Jubilee- "My family and I love Branson,
we go there every year for vacation. Our favorite show is The
Grand Country Jubilee. Not only do they have a wonderful quartet
called the New South, they have a most amazingly funny comedian,
Terry "Homer Lee" Sanders". They also have different styles of
music, you can tell they love what they are doing. They also
have good seating. The performers all interact with the
audience, so you feel you are a part of the show. We will go to
The Grand Country Jubilee show every year!! This show is a must
see!!!!" Elvis Experience w/ Tony Roi- "This is the second year in
succession that I have seen Toni - Not only is he the "KING" but
a "GENTLEMAN" also. He makes you forget the year is 2005 and
bring you deeply into the 1950. I don't know if I will be able
to make to Branson next year to stay but you can be sure I will
stop and make enough time in my schedule to see at least one of
his show." Grand Country Jubilee- "Terry Sanders is an amazing
comedian who has yet to be discovered on the national scene.
Each year, I wait to see if one of the major networks has picked
him to star in a sitcom. His many characters will make you laugh
and bring a smile to your face. Terry Sanders is down to earth
and a true family man and entertainer. I'm deeply proud of his
accomplishments as an actor. I send my highest regards to a
truly talented comedian. You're one of a kind Terry!" Lost in the 50's 7 Mickey Gilley- "First visit ever to Branson
and it will not be my last one....went to see Lost in the 50's
and what an awesome show.....also went to see Mickey Gilley and
wow...he is such a great entertainer....would recommend his show
to everyone ....Mickey Gilley is such a nice man and down to
earth....I asked him to sign my jeans and hat ....he got me to
go back stage and he signed both for me...let me tell you I was
on cloud nine and still am....also Joey Riley was great...what a
good comedian....he had me laughing so hard....can't wait to go
back to Branson...will be sure to see Mickey Gilley again...." "Terry Sanders is the funniest
most committed entertainer in Branson! He is the only person I
know that an bring hysterical laughter from a crowd with his
fantastic imitations and physical humor He is well known by so
many of our visitors, they recognize him no matter in what
setting he is in. He is always warm and cordial to is fans and
everyone appreciates him as person and a real human being. He
always find time in his busy schedule to help others in times of
need. Along with being the finest comedian in Branson, he also
the greatest humanitarian in Branson. Branson simply would not
be Branson without Terry and all his "friends.""
Branson Belle- We took our daughter and son in-law to the Branson Belle Sunday August 14th and although we have been there two other times, this was by far the best show we have ever seen in Branson. The food was very good and served in a timely manner. The staff was very efficient
and was very friendly. The show was terrific. I don't remember
the names of the entertainers but there was a young comedian
that was out of this world. We laughed so hard that we cried.
And there was a young couple that were acrobats. Everything they
did was so beautiful. The band and the vocal group was just
superb. It was such a high energy show. Each part of the program
was better than the last. It was worth every penny we spent on
the tickets. You just can't miss this show. JH World Famous Platters- My favorites are the world famous platters !there harmony will have you dancing in your chairs if they would let you...lol. I personally have met Damon and have to say it is a sad time for me to know he wont be there the next time I go to Branson his funny ways, jokes and way of clowning I will miss every time I look at the stage. But like they say the show must go on he will always be in my memory and I have lots of pictures to remember Damon by. I loved when he did the song remember when that's one of my favorites. The new addition to the platters is wonderful and they doing a fantastic job, a marvelous show don't miss it !!! -Miss Kitty

Sharon Chern Valerio - I have read your
comments about The Lost Seventies Show, these are obviously from
last year (emailed to me from a very good friend). I've read how
you enjoyed the acoustic part and complemented the lead guitar
player Greg Morton... Who is fantastic; it happens to be my
favorite part of the show too. Bobby Hamilton and Greg Morton
have a great chemistry. I agree, I The Lost in The Fifties and The Stuck in The Seventies Show now has the same band at the Starlite Theater. Both of the shows are wonderful. Excellent band and great cast. Thank you for your
wonderful website! Chern Valerio Ellen Nancy Call JOEY RILEY Tina Carolyn mary gurley Jim Rigsby Hi Lori,
