Branson Brothers reviews Branson Brothers Show Information
9-5-06: Summer vacation gave this group a wonderful time to recoup and refresh themselves. On Monday, August 28, 2006 I was back there to view the Branson Brothers with Jimmy Ponder's return. He looked terrific and did a "WOW" job of singing, dancing, and following Homer Lee's (Terry Sanders) humor. I came from Illinois just to welcome Jimmy back and he treated all of us to a show worth a every minute we were there. The crowd was thoroughly into the performance. Andre Sheppard and Dee Allen continued to bring a greatness to the songs as they do every night. Andre's voice has a quality to it that sparks the songs. Dee has a great following of young and old alike. The Band was fabulous also. Dave has selected some interesting music for them to play during both halves of the show. Brad Allen is by far one of the best drummers on stage in Branson. He certainly leads into the comedy and music to prepare the audience for the changes that appear before our eyes. Terry Sanders as Homer Lee, Grandma, one of the Supremes, Fred Smoot "River Dance" and so many more characters gives this show a diversity that is not comparable. On this particular evening I would state emphatically this was the best show they have done all summer. I am so thrilled to have some of these folks as my friends. They exemplify what Branson entertainment is as well as what family fun can be. They have a true Christian spirit about themselves when they sing the gospel songs and a vibrant joy from the variety of artists' music they sing in the second half of the program. Review from Sharon Having just enjoyed the Branson Brothers twice this last week end, all I can say is that they ROCK. Opening night in February was terrific, but the improvements with growth are fabulous. Natalie Nicole has really become the asset to the stage of her dreams. Diana Ponder is swinging with a variety of songs that thrill the heart. Terry Sanders with his multitude of personalities keeps everything hopping. He makes the show one unique and divine experience! Personally I thank Jimmy Ponder for keeping "the five" together to complete the stage group......Dee Allen, Brad Allen, Diana Ponder, Terry Sanders, and himself. The unity of love they have and the work ethic they put forth to entertain us is so well worth the time the audience gives to them. On Friday, June 9th, the special people invited to participate in the show touched my heart beyond all measure. Saturday "Fred Smoot" was on a roll so humorous that my funny bone was tickled greatly. The addition of Andre to the singing group has added so much more to the quality and the band is top notch. My many thanks again to Jimmy for working this out for all concerned! -Sharon Willson D. M. Alicia S Nicole B You would
think the band has been playing together for ages! The medley they
came up with is amazing - truly entertaining! I have already taken 2
sets of company to see this show this year (and it has only been
open a month) and it is a must see for anyone who comes to visit me!
(At least if they want to spend time with me in Branson!) Good luck
to these guys, they have a great show going and I hope they exceed
their own expectations! Merry R
