What About The Band?

3-29-06 I just read Heath’s review on the Branson Brothers show. He did a great job on it. I just have one comment; I am a musician. I have played for many years. (And still do) Why is it that when a show in Branson, Missouri is reviewed, the band is NEVER mentioned?

Don’t take me wrong; I’m THANKFUL that Heath did a review on the BRANSON BROTHERS SHOW. My wife and I REALLY enjoyed the show. It was VERY refreshing to see a show with GREAT variety of talent and music. BUT... The band NEVER got mentioned in his article.

They are ONLY the guys (And gals) who provide the music for these people to sing to. And may
I say that these guys are TOP-NOTCH Musicians. They know how to “pick.” We go to a lot of Christian & Secular concerts and most of the folks have to use sound tracks because they cannot afford a band. I’m SO glad that the BRANSON BROTHERS show has a “LIVE” band.

How about doing a feature on the BRANSON BROTHERS BAND? I’m SURE that the BRANSON BROTHERS really appreciate their band. I feel a lot of people agree with me on this. I know I’m “driving it in the ground” but I think this is an area that needs some attention.

Also, this would be MORE publicity for their show. I know you can’t play favorites but start
with THIS band and go from there. Try it once and see what your response is. I’m SURE you’ll get a lot of GOOD response from it. Let me say that DIANA, NATALIE and TERRY are nothing to forget either.

DIANA’S version of “I Honestly Love You” took me back several years, as did the second round of the show. WOW! They are AWESOME. The comedy was unbelievably GREAT. Terry Sanders does each Character VERY WELL.

Did I mention the BRANSON BROTHERS BAND?

LOL...Thank you Heath for doing this review on the BRANSON BROTHERS SHOW. THANK YOU BRANSON BROTHERS for having a QUALITY SHOW that WELL deserves being written about.

I HIGHLY recommend this show. You will be (in my opinion) an example for BRANSON to follow as to what a GREAT show should be. Keep up the good work.

Editors note:  We totally agree that the bands are neglected in reviews and we apologize for missing this crucial element to the show.  We have a category for Best Band and Best Musician this year with the 2006 Branson Critic Awards that will be held in October. 

This year, the nomination for Best Band will be different than last year.  We also will pick one player for the award of Best Musician.  The Branson Brothers Band is at the top of our list, with Brad being the forerunner of a single musician at this time.

Heath has added to his review (Branson Brothers) a small section on the Band that he meant to put in.
